Sport Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer
Having spent over 4 years in the fitness industry I have worked in a variety of roles for different companies as a sports massage therapist, gym instructor, personal trainer, assistant manager and class instructor. My main aim coming in to this industry, and still is, is to help people be healthier.
I first set up my business offering sports massage during my second year of university, studying Sports Therapy, to be able to help people who want to improve their quality of life or suffering from injuries.
In personal training my philosophy is to teach people the correct technique and to be able to train by themselves, without having a personal trainer with them all the time motivating them and correcting their technique. Fitness is a life long goal and few people have the money to constantly have a personal trainer training them. Being able to train by yourself gives you the freedom to train whenever you want and wherever you want and is something I aimed for myself when I started training and something I pass on to my clients.
When I am not working I like to keep myself active by taking part in a few activities including volleyball, bowling, climbing and golf.
